High Rate Savings

Internet based savings accounts are again ratcheting up the interest rates to attract customers. Here are a few examples in no particular order:

• emigrantdirect.com - Currently advertising 5%.


• Capitalone.com - Currently at 4.75%


• ING Orange Account - Currently advertising 4.35%.
  

As I have said in the past, Kiplinger's and Money magazine have longer lists, if you can find them. The key is that these rates are high enough that they are above inflation.
